Raja Haslifawati, or known as Raje or Jeje, has been in the medical field for 8 years. Her desire to make a difference in the lives of others has led her to pursue a career in the medical field. Though she may not appear to be an experienced nurse due to her petite physical appearance, which has led to her being mistaken as a new graduate, she is in fact an experienced nurse. She worked in a medical ward in a government hospital for 7 years, performing different medical operations from the moment a patient was admitted until the end.

What makes you decide on a career as a full-time Homage Nurse?
As an individual with a family to care for and a desire to serve others in the medical field, I strive to seek out better opportunities and broaden my experience without jeopardizing my responsibilities as a mother and wife. As a result, I have decided to be part of the Homage Nurse team.

What is it like working with Homage as a full-timer? Anything positive that you would like to highlight?
Despite the fact that I have left my prior position at the government hospital, I am still able to serve or assist individuals in need with my medical experience without being particularly bound to any of the healthcare providers that I served as part of the assignment. Without being constrained, I see that I am able to deliver better quality care at Homage as I am given the opportunity to be tasked at different locations, providing various kinds of care services.
How has working with Homage as a full-time nurse shaped your professional or personal journey?
As part of the assignment, I was allocated to a different healthcare provider. This helps to promote and keep my professionalism since I have to deal with absolute strangers in a different sort of setting and with various types of individuals. No matter the job, I need to focus on offering the best service without losing my professionalism and decency. This also allows me to learn how various healthcare practitioners function and how they handle any type of circumstance from their perspective.
Is there a particular moment or memory that stands out for you throughout your journey with Homage so far?
During the pandemic when many lost their jobs, I was fortunate to have gained a new job with a new skill. Homage sparked my career as a Covid-19 swab nurse during my employment here which is something I have never done before in my previous working life. Though I have learned it in theory, I have never performed it before. With guidance and training from my colleagues in Homage, I was able to join the Covid-19 Swab Team and perform swab services at various healthcare providers.
What’s next for you in your career? What are you looking forward to as a full-time Homage Nurse?
My dream is to climb the hierarchical ladder in order to expand my experience and expertise, as well as having my own team in the medical line team.
Would you recommend others to be a full-time nurse with Homage? Why?
Yes! It is a great platform and role for people who enjoy seeking new possibilities and new experiences without leaving the medical field, particularly those who want to pursue an opportunity outside of their current position!
