Prof. Tan Maw Pin is a Professor in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Malaya with over 11 years of experience. In the UK, she started her career as a House Officer in Derby and a Senior House Officer at Nottingham City Hospital. She proceeded to assume the role of Consultant Geriatrician with a Specialist Interest in Falls and Syncope at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospital before returning home to Malaysia. She is the founder and managing director of ACT4Health, a spin-off company to disseminate local research, and the Director of the Genting Dementia Day Care Centre and Aged Care Services Sdn Bhd.
