What is Alzheimer’s? How do you identify early on-set dementia in your loved one? How can a daycare centre help individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s? We answer these questions and more as we ask Adam, an Assistant Nurse Manager at the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) Day Care Centre.
It is also a place for social interactions and community inclusion for persons with Alzheimer’s under the supervision of trained nurses. This service also supports to elevate some of the caregivers’ burden by providing some much-needed respite.
