Being a caregiver can be both rewarding and challenging. As a caregiver, we may pay very little attention to our own well-being while devoting our time and energy into taking care of our loved ones. In this episode of the Homage Web Series anchored by our Johor City Manager Nicholas Chee, we hear from Madam Kamala about the challenges of caregiving and how to better prioritise self-care in order to avoid burnout.
Madam Kamala is a trainer from Caregiver Academy International based in Johor Bahru. Madam Kamala has 24 years of experience in the caregiver and nursing industry, starting out as a nurse in the Ministry of Health to being a lecturer and also a trainer for nursing students.
