How do I apply to be a Homage caregiver?

What are the requirements to apply to be a Homage caregiver?
We are looking for:
- Individuals passionate in caring for seniors/elderly
- Malaysian citizens and Malaysian Permanent Residents aged 18 – 60 years old
- Min. PMR/SPM education qualification
What is my expected job scope as a caregiver?
As a Homage Care Professional, you will be making a difference in providing the following care services to seniors with warmth, tact, and professionalism:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL):
- Perform Vital Signs assessment
- Assist in Medication
- Provide Companionship and Facilitating Recreational Activities
- Do Grocery Shopping & Meal Preparation
- Perform Light Housekeeping for Seniors
- Supervise Physical Exercises and Activities
- Accompany Seniors to Medical Appointments
- Provide Personal Hygiene Care (Showering / Bed Bath / Diaper changing)
- Undertake Night Caregiving
- Check-in Visits
- Help with Personal Grooming (Hair Cut)
How can I take up a case?
Once you have successfully joined us as a Homage caregiver, our Homage CarePro app will match you to the cases that are suitable for your skillset, location etc. You can easily browse through and simply tap and slide the “Apply” button to take up the cases you prefer. Please note that application approval for Care Visits are on a first-come-first-served and on best-fit basis.
I have no experience or formal training as a caregiver. Can I still apply?
Experienced or inexperienced caregivers are welcomed to apply.
Applicants without formal caregiving experience or training will need to undergo training for a Basic Caregiving & CPR Course organized by Homage before joining our Care Professional team.
More details regarding the training will be shared during the application stages.
Where is the care provided and is transportation provided?
Since Homage provides private home care, most visits will take place in the seniors’ own homes, unless stated otherwise. Currently, Homage does not offer transportation; thus, Homage Care Professionals will have to to make their own travel arrangements to and from the senior’s home. Fixed transportation allowances are generally provided for visits in addition to your visit payout.
