ROLE DESCRIPTION

Homage is looking for a Head of Sales (B2C) strongly aligned with its mission to transform the way people access and get personal care. You will manage & grow a high-performing customer-facing team in HQ. Your team’s goal will be to consult & convince new customers to book our suite of services & packages.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales leadership & team growth: Direct, build and lead the inside sales team to achieve Homage’s growth goals and target conversion rates as well as articulate Homage’s service and value proposition to prospective customers

  • Consultative sales: Develop deep empathy for care recipients and their loved ones as well as their end-to-end user journey with Homage; drive the team with a laser-focus on the people at the heart of Homage – customers, care recipients and care professionals

  • Sales enablement: Harnesses the team’s combined experience to build inside sales playbook, training content and continuously optimize for conversion rates from inbound leads, partner with our content team where necessary

  • Sales operations: Define and improve on workflows to manage, track engage all leads, prospects and clients via technology tools and internal systems as well as to enable successful handover to the care operations and specialists teams

  • Excellent execution: Mature and implement data and product analytics frameworks and processes to gain required insights on customer acquisition and engagement.

  • Business alignment: Independently articulate and champion the state of play of the markets we expand into. Define market-level OKRs and seek support and alignment from leadership and operational teams.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales and/or business development with 3+ years of managerial experience

  • Proven track record of making an impact in a rapidly growing organization

  • Entrepreneurial: Proven ability to build from scratch including hiring and team building. Ability and desire to operate resourcefully, independently and with urgency.

  • Impact-driven and persistent: Motivated by moving the needle meaningfully, especially during times when it requires persistence and courage.

  • Analytical: Ability to closely examine and identify relevant information, and earn the respect of both leaders and operational teams by translating insights into clear, sizable operational plans.

  • Operational excellence: You have a keen eye for detail and an exceptionally high bar for accuracy and quality. Similarly you hold your team to that level of standards.

  • Strong opinions, loosely held: Ability to articulate POV with clarity, humility, and a willingness to question one’s own assumptions / desire to constantly improve.

  • People leadership, with an eye for talent: Ability to assess and develop the talent we require to be successful. You lead with influence and build strong, productive relationships with various working styles and characteristics.

  • Business acumen: You deeply understand business fundamentals, potential growth and cost drivers, and can translate complex information into actionable operational plans in the context of driving business performance.

  • Integrity and trustworthiness

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English

  • A passion for caregiving while leading with empathy is a plus

  • Experience and understanding of the healthcare industry is a major plus
