Liver cancer, also known as hepatic cancer and primary hepatic cancer, is cancer that starts in the liver.

 

In Malaysia liver cancer is the eighth most common cause of cancer for both genders and fifth most common cause of cancer for males. Liver cancer is a cause of premature death in Malaysia: there was an observable upward trend from 1990 to 2010.
